Welcome to Adventist Peace Radio, the podcast of the Adventist Peace Fellowship. This episode kicks off the special series that will be running over the next three months—July through September 2019. Lesson 1: Creation features Joanna Darby along with co-hosts Nathan Brown, Lisa Diller, and Jeff Boyd. With a background in teaching art and studies of religion, Joanna is now a full time artist, with a passion for painting the Australian landscape, particularly the outback. Her work can be found in private collections in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the United States, and she has recently been commissioned by the Women In Ministry Trust to paint a series of portraits honouring women connected to Avondale College for their collection. She is co-editor of two books, ‘Do Justice: Our call to faithful living’ and ‘Manifest: Our call to faithful creativity’ and has been a contributor to other Adventist publications. She has been a guest presenter across Australia, New Zealand and the US on biblical justice, creation care, and creativity.
